Two local powerhouses are progressing on a major development with demolition on a prominent Harding Pike site.
H.G. Hill Realty Co. and Ascension Saint Thomas are taking the next steps on their joint master development, Harding Town Center, which will rise on properties sandwiched by the Belle Meade Publix and Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital.
The firms have filed permits to demolish the Taco Bell and Nashville Eye Center located on Harding Pike.
“While there are no firm redevelopment plans in place for the property at this time, we are taking this important next step in efforts to ensure the safety and vibrancy of the community,” Jimmy Granbery, CEO of H.G. Hill Realty, said in an emailed statement to the Business Journal.
H.G. Hill and Ascension Saint Thomas are planning a multibuilding mixed-use development, situated near the entrance to Saint Thomas West Hospital. It’s also near H.G. Hill’s Hill Center Belle Meade development, which is anchored by Publix.
