A Time for Thanksgiving

Jul 25, 01:14 PM Categories :

Although the actual Thanksgiving holiday is months away, we at Gray Public Relations find ourselves with a whole lot to be thankful for. 2008 has already been a remarkable year for us, and we didn’t want these milestones to pass by without sharing a little of our good news with you.

First and foremost, we welcomed the newest addition to the Gray PR family, Elena Kathryn Brewer, on Jan. 25. Demonstrating that she already has a mind of her own, she arrived nearly four weeks early. As if we need another strong-willed female around here! Thank you to everyone who offered their support and congratulations during this joyous (and stressful) time!

Now, back to business. We recently celebrated our three year anniversary and have experienced double-digit growth each year. It appears this year will follow a similar growth pattern. We recently added multiple new clients to our roster including Creekstone Development, EXIT Midsouth, Fine Artist John Cannon, The Franklin Center for Skin & Laser Surgery, Axis Accounting Systems LLC, the University of Nebraska Medical Center and ThriftSmart. The success we've experienced as business partners has been greater than we could have ever hoped for, and we’re looking forward to finding out where else this journey of entrepreneurship will take us.

Our pro-bono projects continue to be a large part of our community commitment. As women business owners, we are launching an inaugural event in September called the Little Black Dress Luncheon and Women’s Business Showcase. The event will raise funds for the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee and the T.J. Martell Foundation.

Of course, we couldn’t have experienced any of this success without our fantastic network of colleagues, clients and friends. Please know that you are among the list of people we are thankful for.

Last but certainly not least, we just launched our official website. We have to thank Julian Bibb and his awesome staff at JLB Works for what we think is a great representation of who we are as a company and as individuals. We hope you’ll visit and tell us what you think!  Also, a special thank you to the very talented Heather Wamble with Yet to Be Photography & Design for the fantastic photographs of Elena.

Because it's not always black and white,

Amy & Stacy
